NDAA USA Battery Manufacturing

We Build
Batteries

KULR manufactures high-performance battery and ESS systems on American soil — purpose-built for physical AI and the defense, aerospace, and industrial applications that demand more from every system they deploy.

Mission

We exist because
power matters.

Power is the key
to successful deployment of
Physical and Edge AI.

Physical AI sits at the intersection of three disciplines: artificial intelligence gives machines perception and decision-making; energy storage gives them mobility and endurance; power electronics converts that energy into reliable motion, compute, and control. Every drone, edge system, and autonomous platform runs on electricity — and that electricity must be dense, reliable, and available wherever the mission demands.

KULR operates at the integration layer where those disciplines come together. We manufacture batteries, BMS, chargers, and power electronics domestically — not because it is easier, but because supply chain integrity, national energy security, and job creation are inseparable from the mission. The companies that integrate across these disciplines will define the next decade of physical infrastructure. We intend to be one of them.

Forge-1 — Corporate HQ & R&D

Where the science
gets done

FORGE-1 is KULR's corporate headquarters and engineering center — where battery packs, thermal management, and BMS architecture are developed, validated, and refined. Every production design starts here before it ever reaches the line.

Forge-2 — Volume Production

Purpose-built
for scale

FORGE-2 is KULR's high-volume manufacturing facility — running automated and semi-automated production lines and up to three shifts a day, delivering 150 MW of annual drone battery capacity or up to 50 MWh of Telecom and Grid Storage systems.

Supply Chain

NDAA-compliant batteries,
start to finish.

A battery supply chain built for defense and government requirements. Every cell, component, and finished pack is sourced, manufactured, and assembled domestically — with full NDAA Section 889 and 1260H documentation at every step.

01
NDAA-Compliant
Cell Sourcing
Cells sourced exclusively from qualified domestic and allied-nation suppliers with no ties to prohibited foreign entities under NDAA Section 1260H. Country-of-origin documentation and restricted-entity checks maintained for every lot entering the line.
02
Domestic Battery
Manufacturing
End-to-end battery pack production in the United States — from cell intake through pack integration — on automated lines with inline quality checks at every stage. No offshore subassembly, no foreign-entity dependencies.
03
Proprietary
In-House Welding
Proprietary laser and resistance welding processes developed and executed domestically, validated to a >50 lb pull-test standard. Every weld joint is logged and traceable to operator, machine, and production lot — with no dependency on foreign subcontractors.
04
In-House Battery
Testing
Thermal cycling, abuse tolerance, and multi-physics simulation performed on-site against MIL-SPEC and UL standards. Each battery design is stress-tested across operating envelopes before release — no reliance on foreign or third-party labs for core validation.
05
Domestic Pack
Assembly
Final battery system assembly executed in a controlled, U.S.-based facility with electrostatic and contamination controls. Functional test, capacity verification, and burn-in completed before shipment — fully traceable for government end-use requirements.
06
Quality &
NDAA Documentation
AS9100 certified quality management system with full NDAA-compliant documentation packages. Country-of-origin records, restricted-entity clearances, and manufacturing lot traceability retained for every battery system we ship.
07
Scalable Defense
Production
Production architecture built for program ramps and surge requirements — not prototypes. Modular line configuration supports rapid battery capacity expansion to meet government contract timelines without compromising yield, quality, or NDAA compliance.
Company

Publicly traded.
Execution focused.

KULR is listed on the NYSE American exchange. We are a manufacturing company first — the core metric we manage is batteries shipped, not headlines generated. Our leadership team comes from semiconductor manufacturing, energy project finance, and defense-grade systems development.

The long-term platform vision is built on a simple 2026 operating commitment: build more batteries, sell more batteries, and operate with discipline. Every pack shipped, every program advanced, and every customer milestone reached adds another proof point to the platform KULR is building.
